The depth and width used to determine what size screen you could have a television. The standard sizes used to be around 22/24 inch screens as you had, at last, another 3 inches on either side to accommodate the speakers. Happily, those days are long gone, and we can now have the size of television to suit our rooms. One of the most known sizes of television today is the 46 inch, and if this is the size you are looking for the Samsung UN46C300 is well worth a look. It’s really fun to watch the old tube while I’m at home in my living room or bedroom, especially when it’s cold outside. Though I usually see most of my favorite programs in the fall, there are plenty of gems to watch and enjoy in the winter or spring. It’s all about finding them and knowing what to watch.

They are out there; we just have to take time and do more research. After exploring channels and incessantly reading reviews online, I have a list of some great series that make my regular rotation.

Here are some shows that I would like to recommend for your viewing pleasure whether you choose to watch it live or on DVR (which I’d highly recommend if you have one, as it’s always more convenient to enjoy these things on your schedule).

If you work in an office or any corporate setting, you’ll surely appreciate the humor that Better Off Ted brings to the table. This is a satirical jab at the nuances that we all go through when we get to work each day, and it’s a refreshing break from the usual. If you have an appreciation for sarcasm and quick-witted comedy, then you can’t pass this one up.

The writing style for Better Off with Ted is said to be comparable with Arrested Development. It is a smart comedy that audience would surely enjoy. I’ve recommended it to quite a few friends, and no one I know objects to it in any way. That says a lot.

Then, there are Men of a Certain Age, broadcast on TNT. This is a drama with its share of humorous moments that you’ll enjoy if you have a family and kids. There are many parallels in their lives that you’ll likely be able to relate to. Ray Romano carries this show with the help of other good middle aged actors. It presents the complex world of people who are already in their 40s.

This show is a comedic drama. Therefore there’s a big chance that you’d find yourself connecting with the characters’ feelings and behaviors. It is a touching series that I would recommend.
